Contains nine articles, by Walt Whitman, Edwin Evans, Alexis Tolstoi and others, on topics concerning Russia; the longest article, "First Contact With Poland" by Alexander Werth, describes the effects of the recent Nazi German occupation of that country.
No dustjacket; the cover is marked and discoloured with creasing to the spine, fading to the spine and adjacent areas, and wear and bumping to edges and corners; the pages are slightly discoloured with foxing to the first few pages and to the page edges, together with occasional creases, occasional marks including large brown stains to a couple of pages, and slight edge and corner wear.
