Vintage hardback cookery / recipe book (colour pictorial boards, buff cloth spine with white printed titles), 156pp including colour plates, measuring approximately 20.9 x 28.5 x 1.6cm (8.25 x 11.2 x 0.65in). Includes such recipes as "Hai Yong Shok Mei Tong" (sweet corn and crab soup), "Dow See Gai" (chicken and black beans), "Lap Chung Fan" (steamed rice and Chinese sausage) and "Jar Ngar Chu" (candied banana fritters).
No dustjacket; the cover is discoloured and marked with age wear including scratching, scuffing, bumping, and edge and corner wear; the pages are discoloured with tanning and foxing to the edges, other occasional marks (including an old pre-decimal price in pencil to the front endpaper), and slight edge and corner wear.
