Softcover, 167pp, measuring approximately 11.3 x 18 x 1cm (4.45 x 7.1 x 0.4in). "Not a soul in remote Liberty Hill but had at one time trembled under the stern gaze of 'the terrible Miss Dove'. There were a thousand anecdotes, told in awed whispers, about the thin-lipped geography teacher. And then Miss Dove was taken ill. The whole discipline of Liberty Hill seemed to be in danger."
No dustjacket; the cover is much discoloured and marked with considerable wear including creasing (including spine), splitting to the front hinge, a couple of pinholes to the front, indentations, edge and corner wear; the pages are discoloured with browning to the edges, marking (including light damp staining to the edges of some pages), pinpricks to the first few pages (corresponding with the pinholes on the cover) and age wear (mainly to the edges and corners).
