Wade "Tropical Fruit Gatherers" pin dish in original box, c.1950s-60s

A late 1950s or early 1960s vintage Wade "Tropical Fruit Gatherers" pottery pin dish, in off-white with colour transfer design depicting a Caribbean in native costume harvesting coconuts, complete with its original box.  The dish, which measures approximately 10.6cm (4.15in) across and 2cm (0.8in) tall at the corners, and bears a black transfer stamp and a faint pink painted mark to the base, has some age wear including scratching and abrasion to the surface, minor imperfections to the transfer, and manufacturing imperfections including slight unevenness to the edges and some unevenness and pockmarks in the glaze; the box is discoloured and marked with age wear including creasing (mainly to the flaps) and bumping and the odd slight tear to the edges, whilst the cellophane window, although still present, has become detached with some age wear.
