This is the 49th edition of a popular guide to photography which was first published in December 1939. Hardback, 232pp (including several black and white plates), measuring approximately 13 x 19 x 1.6cm (5.1 x 7.5 x 0.65in). The dustjacket is worn with tattered edges and has had its price clipped, whilst there is some bumping to the corners and edges of the cover. There is some marking, creasing and age wear to the pages, one of which has a tiny rip, and the end pages are slightly yellowed.
