Vintage white / multicoloured flake glass octagonal pendant lampshade, c.1920s-30s

A c.1920s-30s vintage octagonal pendant lampshade / light shade, in white / multicoloured flake glass (with flakes in pink, green, orange, a small amount of yellow and two shades of blue) with semi-shiny surface to the exterior, measuring approximately 15.2cm (6in) in height and 16cm (6.3in) across at the base; the lampholder hole is approximately 2.9cm (1.15in) in diameter, and thus the shade should fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder.  There is considerable surface wear including scratching, some abrasion and slight marking, and there is some roughness / nibbling around the lampholder hole (not visible when the shade is hung); there are slight irregularities in the moulded shape of the shade, together with other imperfections including occasional small lumps to the surface and numerous air bubbles within the glass.
