A c.1960s-70s vintage retro pottery jug vase with abstract moulded design, measuring approximately 17.5cm (6.9in) in height and 8.2cm (3.25in) in diameter (max, excluding handle), in semi-shiny deep bluish-brownish speckled grey glaze to the exterior with shiny blue mottled glaze to the impressed areas of the moulded design, and slightly speckled cream glaze to the interior; there are no identifying marks, although the piece is comparable in style to the increasingly collectable West German pottery of the era. There is some age wear including slight scratching and abrasion to the surface and some marking to the foot, and there is some crazing to the interior; there are some minor manufacturing imperfections including a few tiny bumps and some unevenness to the surface (most noticeably to the handle).
