A vintage Betterwear knitting needle gauge and a vintage row counter, both c.1950s-60s. The needle gauge, which is approximately 11.2cm long and made of grey plastic, is stamped "Betterwear / FREE GIFT", and incorporates holes corresponding to needle sizes 7 to 14, measurements in imperial and metric, and a small clip. The row counter, which measures approximately 2.3cm long, is made of orange-red plastic with white ends and internal metal needle grip, and is stamped "TX KNITTING REGISTER / MADE IN / GT. BRITAIN", with a patent number, in tiny letters to both ends. Whilst the needle gauge shows slight age wear, the row counter is in very good condition.
