Vintage kitsch ceramic poodle dog ornament, c.1950s

A c.1950s vintage kitsch hollow-moulded ceramic figure of a standing poodle, measuring approximately 18.7cm (7.35in) in height and 5.4cm (2.15in) wide (max), in shiny glaze with sprayed grey-black colouring and handpainted features including a mauve bow; there are no identifying marks.  There are a couple of nibbles to one ear and another below the nose, together with age wear including slight scratching and abrasion to the surface and considerable discoloration and marking to the unglazed base; there is some crazing in places, and there are various manufacturing imperfections to the moulding, glaze and decoration.
