A c.1960s-70s vintage "Coffin Bank" wind-up novelty money box ("Mysterious - Hilarious / Party-Stopper") by Yone, Japan, measuring approximately 16.2 x 6.9 x 4.7cm (6.4 x 2.7 x 1.85in) excluding the winding key and other protruding parts, in printed tinplate (the metal sheet used for the base being a leftover from the production of Fuji photo film) with a green plastic arm attached to the clockwork mechanism, which is activated when a coin is placed in front of the slot; the arm reaches out and pushes the coin into the box!  The original green plastic skull is unfortunately missing, and there is some surface wear and marking to the arm, whilst the attached black cloth sheet is very worn and dusty; the metal case has some rust spotting, "tin worm" and age wear including one or two small dents and dings.  The clockwork mechanism, however, is still in working order (except when fully wound, in which case the arm rises too high); the slot will accommodate all current UK coins except the £1.
