Vintage flake glass octagonal pendant lampshade (white with pink and green marbling), c.1920s-30s

A c.1920s-30s vintage octagonal pendant lampshade / light shade, in white flake glass with pink and green marbling, satin finish to surface, measuring approximately 15.2cm (6in) in height and 16cm (6.3in) across at the base; the lampholder hole is approximately 2.9cm (1.15in) in diameter, and thus the shade should fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder.  There is a small chip (approximately 0.5 x 0.2cm / 0.2 x 0.1in) to the lower edge, together with some small chips, nibbles and roughness around the lampholder hole (the latter not of course visible when the shade is hung); there is some surface wear including light scratching and scuffing, slight abrasion and the odd tiny fleabite, whilst there are some paint specks and other slight marks; there are slight irregularities in the moulded shape of the shade, together with other imperfections including numerous air bubbles within the glass.
