Vintage flake glass octagonal pendant lampshade (white, pink and yellow), c.1920s-30s

A c.1920s-30s vintage octagonal pendant lampshade / light shade, in white, deep pink and yellow flake glass with satin finish to surface, measuring approximately 14.5cm (5.7in) in height and 16.2cm (6.4in) across at the base; the lampholder hole is approximately 2.9cm (1.15in) in diameter, and thus the shade should fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder.  There is some surface wear including light scratching, scuffing and slight abrasion, together with several paint specks and other slight marks, whilst there is some chipping, nibbling and roughness around the lampholder hole (not visible when the shade is hung); there are irregularities in the moulded shape of the shade (including considerable variation in height), together with other imperfections including air bubbles within the glass.
