A Victorian glass vase in bright yellow with white streaks / flecks, standing on four partly transparent feet, and measuring approximately 22.5cm (8.85in) tall, 3.9cm (1.55in) in diameter at the rim, and 7.5cm (2.95in) in diameter at its widest point. The vase is decorated with a handpainted flower and leaf design in yellow to the front together with a leaf design in gilt with painted yellow detail to the sides (plus the remains of a gilt band to the rim); the gilt portion of the decoration, however, has almost worn away on one side, and shows some wear to the other. There are a few small fleabites to the rim, whilst the glass has some air bubbles and other small manufacturing defects. (Please note that the photo is taken at an angle, which makes the vase appear to lean; it actually stands perfectly straight!)
