Two small white card packets / cartons of "Superior Quality Swan Bill" hooks, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, with pictorial design to front and back. Each packet, which measures approximately 4.9 x 3.5 x 1.4cm (1.95 x 1.4 x 0.55in), originally contained four dozen "No. 7" hooks; one still contains about 37 and the other about 46, each measuring approximately 1.2cm (0.45in) in length, in good condition apart from slight tarnish. The packets themselves are worn, marked and discoloured with a degree of crushing, one also having a small puncture.
