Twinco "Slidaway" collapsible plastic hair or clothes brush, c.1950s (pale brown marbled)

A c.1950s vintage collapsible hair or clothes brush, in pale orange-brown marbled plastic with black (possibly natural) bristles; the lid slides off to reveal the bristles folded flat, and slides under the bristles to hold them horizontal.  The inside of the lid is marked "TWINCO / "SLIDAWAY" / MADE IN ENGLAND BR. & / WORLD PATENTS PENDING".  The brush, which measures approximately 10.3 x 5.9 x 1.1cm (4.05 x 2.3 x 0.45in) when closed, has some light scratching and mild to moderate general age wear to the plastic, together with moderate wear and slight loss to the bristles.
