Twinco "Slidaway" collapsible plastic hair or clothes brush, c.1950s (cream)

A c.1950s vintage collapsible hair or clothes brush, in cream plastic with synthetic bristles; the lid slides off to reveal the bristles folded flat, and slides under the bristles to hold them horizontal.  The inside of the lid is marked "TWINCO / "SLIDAWAY" / MADE IN ENGLAND / BR. & OVERSEAS PATS PENDING / U.S.A. PAT.NO.2774096".  The brush, which measures approximately 10.3 x 5.9 x 1.1cm (4.05 x 2.3 x 0.45in) when closed, has slight chipping to the corners at one end, some slight yellowish staining in places, a few light scratches and mild to moderate general age wear.
