"Twenty-three Popular Airs for the Violin, with Pianoforte Accompaniments" (Pitman's Sixpenny Musical Library, No. 35) (London, F. Pitman, c.1880-1900).  Music book, 32pp plus paper covers, measuring approximately 22 x 27.9cm (8.65 x 11in).  A collection of miscellaneous classical and other pieces including "The Farewell" by Beethoven, the Welsh melody "The Maid of Llangollen", "Air by Donizetti" and the sacred song "Safe in the Arms of Jesus".  The cover is marked and discoloured with creases, tears, loss to the top corner of the back cover, splitting to the fold, bumping and general wear; the pages are discoloured and marked with creases, indentations, bumping and short tears to edges, bumping to corners, slight splitting to the folds and general wear.
