Toni Raymond Pottery "Toilet" door plaque, c.1960s-70s (SOLD)

A vintage Toni Raymond Pottery "Toilet" door plaque, c.1960s-70s, in white glaze with handpainted and hand-coloured transfer pictorial decoration, measuring approximately 5.4 x 10.3 x 0.9cm (2.15 x 4.05 x 0.35in), and marked to the back with the black printed "TONI RAYMOND POTTERY / ENGLAND" mallard duck stamp.  There is some surface wear including considerable scratching and abrasion to the front surface, together with old sticky tape marks (from the tape which would have held the original screws) to the back; there are a few craze lines in the glaze, together with imperfections including slight unevenness to the surface, tiny spot marks in the glaze, and unglazed patches to edges and corners.  We will include a pair of round-headed chrome fixing screws (not shown in the photos) which, although not original, are of suitable size and appearance.
