Children's picture story book with board covers and cloth spine, approximately 90pp, measuring approximately 19.5 x 26.5 x 1.6cm (7.7 x 10.45 x 0.65in). This book, with pictorial front cover showing a little boy in green and white and a girl in a yellow dress with alphabet blocks against a blue background, contains stories and poems for young children with black and white (and a few two-tone) illustrations plus a colour frontispiece ("The boys fly their model planes"). No dustjacket; there is considerable wear to the cover including wear to edges and corners, slight surface loss to the front and fading to the spine, together with marking including pencil marks and scribbles; the binding is somewhat loose with splitting between the front inside cover and pages; the pages are discoloured with some pen and other marks, some tearing, creasing and reading wear, whilst the frontispiece is very creased and worn with a tear to the bottom right corner.
