Three items of paper ephemera dating from early 1971 or shortly before, concerning the United Kingdom's changeover to decimal currency on 15 February 1971, as follows:
(a) "Your guide to decimal currency in the Post Office" (24-page booklet);
(b) "Your Bank Account and Decimal Currency" (stapled leaflet issued by The British Bankers' Association, 8pp plus threefold cover including conversion table);
(c) a single sheet of paper with a conversion table on one side and a "Notice for the information of stockholders" re decimalisation, which would have been enclosed with a "warrant for payment".
The Post Office booklet, which measures approximately 11.4 x 22.9cm (4.5 x 9in), shows considerable age wear and discoloration, with creasing, bumping, and pen marks to the back cover; the other two items show a lesser amount of age wear including some discoloration and creasing.
