A souvenir china cup, c.1890-1914, with a large transfer scene entitled "The Castle & Beach, Seaton" to one side, a bluish-green finish to the rest of the exterior (except the handle and base) and gilt trim. The cup, which measures approximately 6.6cm in height and 7.1cm in diameter at the top, bears a red printed "Made in Germany" mark to the base. There is considerable age wear and scratching to the surface (including the transfer and gilt) and some nibbling to the foot, together with some manufacturing imperfections to the glaze and decoration.
