"The Autocar" magazine (Coronation Number), 8 May 1953 (vol. 98, no. 2997); approximately 248 pages (including paper covers), measuring approximately 21.3 x 29.5cm (8.4 x 11.6in). This special edition, issued to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, contains articles and features including "The History of Britain's Motor Industry" and a description of "traffic and parking arrangements" for the Coronation with travel advice for spectators, as well as numerous motor-related advertisements including some full-page adverts in full or half colour. The cover is marked and discoloured with some tears, creases and a pair of staple holes (with slight rust) to the front; there is some marking / foxing to the pages, together with some bumping to edges and corners, nicks / punctures (presumably from the production process) to some page edges, and the odd edge tear; the monochrome pages have yellowed with age (the colour pages are printed on better quality paper), and the staples are rusty.
