T. S. E., "Stories for Willing Ears: A Book for Boys" (London, Charles H. Kelly, c.1890). Hardcover, 160pp, measuring approximately 12.7 x 15.9 x 1.7cm (5 x 6.25 x 0.65in). A collection of ten stories with a typically Victorian moral and religious slant, each illustrated with a full-page engraving. The front endpaper is inscribed: "Presented / To / Claud Juleff / From / Summercourt Wesleyan / Sunday School / Jany 1896". No dustjacket; the cover is very much worn, marked, faded and discoloured, and the binding is loose in places with splitting between the inside back cover and endpaper, although the pages remain firmly in place; the endpapers are browned and foxed, and the pages have yellowed with various marks throughout, together with slight bumping to the edges and the occasional crease.
