Sydney M. Laird, "Venereal Disease in Britain" (Penguin Special, S128: Harmondsworth, Penguin Books, 1943; third reprinting, February 1944).  Paperback, 80pp, measuring approximately 11.1 x 18.1 x 0.4cm (4.35 x 7.15 x 0.15in); the inside front cover carries an advertisement for immunisation against diphtheria.  There is some discoloration / browning, creasing, slight bumping and general wear to the cover (including wear to the folds at the spine), together with some foxing to the inside covers; the pages (which are of low-grade wartime paper) are discoloured with occasional slight corner creases and some foxing (especially to the edges), and there is some rust to the staples.
