Booklet with pictorial card covers (the back cover having a bookmark / index flap), 60pp, measuring approximately 14 x 21.7cm (5.5 x 8.55in). A booklet of cookery advice and recipes, with several black and white illustrations, intended to promote the use of Stork Margarine, probably dating from the late 1930s, or perhaps about 1950 (there is no mention of wartime or post-war rationing and shortages). The cover is discoloured and marked with age wear including creases, tears and bumping to the edges; the pages are discoloured with rust staining around the staples, other occasional marks and very slight edge and corner wear; the staples are very rusty, and the centre pages are partially loose.
