"Storyland for Girls (Illustrated)" (London and New York, Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd., 1932).  Girls' story book with illustrated board covers, 126pp plus two colour plates, measuring approximately 18 x 24 x 3.1cm (7.1 x 9.45 x 1.2in).  This scarce book, with front cover design depicting a schoolgirl in a red blazer holding a book with two girls in a boat in the background, contains eleven stories (mostly school stories) by various authors, including "Lesley's Luck" by Mary Gervaise and "The Green Cloak" by Peggy Carr.  No dustjacket; the cover is marked and discoloured with slight warping to the boards, age wear including scratches, a few small indentations, a pinprick or insect hole near the top of the rear spine hinge, and wear and bumping to the edges and corners; the pages are discoloured with marks throughout including foxing to the reverse of both plates and marks to the page edges (which can be seen when the book is closed) and edge and corner wear including scratches, indentations and the odd corner crease.
