Stanley Gibbons Priced Catalogue of King George VI Postage Stamps (London, Stanley Gibbons Ltd; fourth edition, 1952).  Softcover, 180pp (plus title, index, introductory and advertisement pages), measuring approximately 12.9 x 20.4 x 0.7cm (5.1 x 8.05 x 0.3in).  The cover is discoloured with marks, creases, bumping to the edges and corners, and general age wear; there is slight tearing / splitting to the ends of the spine, and the staples have rusted.  The pages have yellowed with age, with creasing to some corners together with the occasional small tear; some writing in pencil has been crossed out in ink on the inside front cover, and an old pre-decimal price is written in pencil on the top corner of the title page.
