"St Wendron Church" trio (cup, saucer and tea plate)

A c.1930s trio (cup, saucer and tea plate), in shiny white glaze with gilt rim and identical sepia transfer depictions of "St Wendron Church" (Wendron is near Helston, Cornwall).  The saucer (approximately 14.1cm in diameter and 2.3cm tall, having a high rim) and the plate (approximately 17.6cm in diameter) have a green printed stamp to the base, with a crown and the words: "SUPPLIED DIRECT FROM / THE CROWN POTTERY / STOKE-ON-TRENT / BY THE CERAMIC ART CO. LTD."; of these, the mark to the saucer is darker and more distinct.  All the pieces have some wear to the gilding, marks and scratching to the surface, wear / defects to the transfers, and manufacturing irregularities, including uneven application of glaze (especially noticeable to the edge of the cup, which measures approximately 8.4cm in diameter at the top, and 6.6cm tall).  The plate has a couple of rough patches to the edge, and is crazed all over to both sides, with a few spots of missing glaze; the other two pieces have no crazing.  The saucer, however, has a couple of fleabites to the edge and a pinhole indent to the exterior, whilst the cup has a couple of small fleabites and a small faultline to the external edge of the base.
