Spratt's "Training Your Dog" booklet (advertising dog food), 1950s (SOLD)

A booklet entitled "Training Your Dog", published by Spratt's (the well-known pet food manufacturers); although undated, the front cover illustration of a Pekingese puppy is stated to have been one of the entries in Spratt's 1955/56 Amateur Artists Competition.  Measuring approximately 12.3 x 17.7cm (4.85 x 6.95in), the booklet contains 32 pages (plus covers), including several advertisements for Spratt's products and services, principally dog food.  A somewhat amusing erratum slip is glued to the edge of the first page (see photos).  There is some creasing, marking, foxing and general age wear throughout; there is also a stain to the top of the front cover and the first page, tearing / splitting along the fold of the cover, slight tearing / paper loss to the bottom of the back cover and one or two other pages, and slight rusting to the staples.
