A c.1930s moulded pink glass round serving bowl in a typically Art Deco chevron design with frosted sections, by Sowerby of Gateshead (pattern 2631), measuring approximately 21.4cm (8.45in) in external diameter and 8.3cm (3.25in) tall (max). There are various manufacturing irregularities including horizontal fault lines / roughness all the way around the central horizontal edge of the exterior, a short vertical fault line to the exterior just below the rim, some tiny bumps and pockmarks to the interior, and some small air bubbles, line marks and unevenness in the glass together with wavy lines in some of the frosted areas; there is some age wear including moderate scratching and abrasion to the surface, a few nibbles / fleabites to the internal rim and to the exterior, and some scratches and tiny nibbles to the feet.
