Sowerby pink part-frosted glass oval serving bowl in Art Deco chevron design (pattern 2631) (SOLD)

A c.1930s moulded pink glass oval serving bowl in a typically Art Deco chevron design with frosted sections, by Sowerby of Gateshead (pattern 2631), measuring approximately 30.1cm (11.85in) long, 17.4cm (6.85in) wide and 8.2cm (3.25in) deep.  There are various manufacturing irregularities including some air bubbles, uneven wavy lines within the glass in places, and some areas with a slightly textured (but not rough) feel; there are a few nibbles / small chips to the feet together with some surface wear including scratching (mainly to the interior), although the condition overall is comparatively good.
