A pink glass square-footed sundae dish in a distinctively Art Deco chevron pattern, by Sowerby of Gateshead (pattern 2631), part clear and part frosted, measuring approximately 10.6cm (4.15in) in diameter, 8cm (3.15in) in height and 5.9 x 5.9cm (2.3 x 2.3in) at the base (dimensions may vary slightly). There are various manufacturing irregularities in the glass including lines and air bubbles, and the base is somewhat roughly moulded; there may be one or two small chips and/or a few nibbles to the base or to the external edges, together with some scratching and age wear to the surface.
