A c.1930s moulded green glass oval serving bowl in a typically Art Deco chevron design, by Sowerby of Gateshead (pattern 2631), measuring approximately 30.1cm (11.85in) long, 17.4cm (6.85in) wide and 7.7cm (3.05in) deep. There are various manufacturing irregularities including a pattern of uneven wavy lines around the lower half (which can be felt on the outside) and a few tiny air bubbles; there is some nibbling and age wear to the feet, together with a couple of tiny nibbles to the outer edges, a few tiny rough spots, and some scratches and scuffs to the surface.
