Smith & Co. "Honey Glycerine & Lemon Pastilles" tin, c.1920s-30s

A c.1920s-30s vintage "Honey Glycerine & Lemon Pastilles" tin (empty), by Smith & Co., 132 Borough, S.E.1. London,  with hinged lid in orange, blue, off-white and gilt with recessed centre panel, the remainder of the exterior in gilt with details of other "Useful Digestive Agents" produced by the same company printed to the base, measuring approximately 8.1 x 5.9 x 2cm (3.2 x 2.3 x 0.8in).  There is some age wear including scratching, wear and loss to the print and gilt, tarnish in places to the exterior, some tarnish and rust patches to the interior, and several small bumps / dings to the lid.
