A Shelley ceramic jelly mould, dating from the early 20th century, in an attractively detailed oval geometric design, finished in white glaze and measuring approximately 11cm (4.35in) in height and 18.5 x 15.3cm (7.3 x 6in) externally at the base; the exterior is marked with the green printed "SHELLEY / MADE IN / ENGLAND" shield stamp. There is a small chip (approximately 0.4 x 0.4cm / 0.15 x 0.15in) to the outer base edge, together with the odd nibble, some short manufacturing fault lines and some age wear, whilst the upper edge likewise shows age wear including considerable marking plus the odd nibble; the surface is crazed throughout with some age wear.
