Set of five vintage "Red Domino" polka dot plastic napkin rings by Embee Products, c.1950s

A set of five c.1950s vintage "Red Domino" octagonal napkin rings by Embee Products, in red plastic with white polka dots; this pattern is very typical of its era, and indeed matches the popular Midwinter "Red Domino" tableware of the period.  The rings, which each measure approximately 4.5cm (1.75in) across and 2.6cm (1in) thick, are marked to the edge with a tiny "mb" monogram trademark (for Embee Products) together with a number (2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 respectively - which suggests that there were originally six rings in the set).  There is some age wear to the plastic including scratching, scuffing, some roughness and slight nibbling to edges and corners, whilst some of the polka dots are worn and a few missing; there are some moulding marks dating from manufacture.
