S. Parkinson, "Scenes from the "George Eliot" Country" (Leeds, Richard Jackson, 1888).  Hardback, 148pp (including several illustrations), measuring approximately 13.3 x 19.6 x 1.6cm (5.25 x 7.7 x 0.65in).  No dustjacket; there is some marking, scuffing, bumping and general age wear to the dark green cloth board cover, together with slight tearing to the top and bottom of the spine; there is some splitting between the inside covers and endpapers, and the binding is loose in places, some rust to staples within the binding being occasionally visible; there is some yellowing to the pages with occasional marking and underlining in faded ink, some other slight marks and spots and some rough edges.
