Booklet (24pp including paper covers, plus folded "Supplement" sheet with charts), measuring approximately 18.4 x 24.7cm (7.25 x 9.7in). This booklet, which would be a very useful source of inspiration to anyone wishing to produce their own handmade rugs to suit a vintage or retro style decorative scheme, contains instructions, charts and diagrams for sixteen designs of pile rugs, four designs of stitched rugs (including a Hassock and Pew Runner) and three designs of mixed pile and stitched rugs (two of which are variants of pile designs); the designs are a mixture of traditional and contemporary. There is some age wear to the cover including bumping and slight creasing to edges and corners, and there is some discoloration to the pages together with age wear including bumping to edges and corners, occasional slight creases and marks, and slight surface damage at the tops of two pages where they have stuck together in the past; the folded "Supplement" sheet is browned with age, but is still stapled in to the booklet and thus remains (as far as can be seen) in good condition.
