Royal Wedding (Prince Charles and Lady Diana) large rectangular commemorative tin, 1981

A large rectangular biscuit or confectionery tin (empty), measuring approximately 16.4 x 25.5 x 7.8cm (6.45 x 10.05 x 3.05in), commemorating the Royal Wedding of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, 29th July 1981.  The tin, which bears no trade names, has a large colour photograph of Charles and Diana to the lid, and colour illustrations of Windsor Castle to the sides and St. Paul's Cathedral to the ends, with light blue, black and silver designs on a deep blue background.  There are some scratches and slight marks and a few slight indentations to the base, together with very slight fading to the printed surface in places, tarnish to the bare metal outer edges of the lid and some patches of tarnish to the interior, although the overall condition of the tin is very good.
