A small round pottery dish by Bridgwood Sampsonite Vitrified Hotel Ware, produced to commemorate the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer (29 July 1981), in white glaze with gilt rim and colour transfer design incorporating a heart-shaped joint portrait in colour, and measuring approximately 10.2cm (4in) in diameter and 2.2cm (0.85in) deep; the base bears a black printed stamp depicting Samson with the words "BRIDGWOOD / ENGLAND / SAMPSONITE / F BRITISH 81 / STANDARD / 4004 / VITRIFIED HOTEL WARE".  There is some slight surface wear including some scratches and scuffs, slight wear to the foot and to the decoration; there is some unevenness to the underside glaze together with other minor imperfections in the glaze (mainly also to the underside).
