Two c.1930s packets of Rising Sun Stove Polish, by Reckitt and Sons, Hull and London. One packet is "Size A" (approximately 4.9 x 3.8 x 3.2cm / 1.95 x 1.5 x 1.25in), the other "Size C" (4.8 x 3.2 x 1.3cm / 1.9 x 1.25 x 0.5in). Both packets show general age wear including black and other marks; the Size A packet has damage to the front caused by the removal of a modern price label (injudiciously applied by the stallholder at the fair where I bought it several years ago), whilst the other has small holes at some edges and corners.
