Riley's Toffee tin with "Venetian Carnival" design, c.1950s

A vintage Riley's Toffee tin (empty), by Riley Brothers (Halifax) Limited, c.1950s, measuring approximately 23.3 x 15.8 x 3.5cm (9.15 x 6.2 x 1.4in), with "Venetian Carnival" design to the lid, reproduced from a painting (the signature appears to read "Gino Fiorentini").  There are numerous scratches and a few patches of loss to the printed surface of the lid, which also has two or three tiny dings; the sides are in good condition with only slight wear, although they  have been pushed out of shape very slightly in places.  The base is somewhat tarnished, and there is slight tarnish to the interior; there are some rust patches and spots to the base of the interior and exterior.
