A metal tube of "Rhino-Sole Synthetic Plastic Leather" (a compound for use in repairing leather or rubber, advertised as "The Sole of a Boot in a Tube"), by Rhino-Sole Limited, West Croydon, Surrey, c.1920s-30s, with pictorial trademark.  The tube, which measures approximately 12.5 x 4.4 x 2.5cm (4.9 x 1.75 x 1in), is in poor condition, with much wrinkling and crinkling to the metal, together with disintegration in places, leaving holes large and small; the tube still contains most or all of the original contents, which have hardened with age.
