A 1950s vintage wirework magazine rack with carrying handle, in original off-white painted finish (which has probably discoloured with age) with black painted wood "cocktail cherry" feet, measuring approximately 29cm (11.4in) long, 16.5cm (6.5in) wide and 39.2cm (15.45in) tall (max). There are various patches and spots of loss to the painted finish throughout, together with corrosion in places, some marking and general age wear, and in some places the paint has been somewhat thinly applied so that the metal underneath shows through, whilst there is some marking and age wear to the feet; one side of the frame has been pushed slightly further inwards than the other, although this should be fairly easy to rectify. Although we have chosen to sell this piece in its unrestored state, in which it should appeal to devotees of "shabby chic", the purchaser may prefer to repaint it in a finish of their own choice!
