Retro translucent plastic (polythene) pendant lampshade in Art Deco style pattern, c.1950s-60s

A c.1950s-60s vintage pendant lampshade / light shade in semi-flexible translucent polythene (similar to vintage Tupperware), moulded in an Art Deco style with a central band with groups of three alternately horizontal and vertical bars.  (The Art Deco style persisted into the 1950s, and thus this may be a late example of the style; on the other hand, the Deco appearance of the design may have been unintentional.)  The shade measures approximately 14.5cm (5.7in) in height and 13cm (5.1in) in diameter (max); the lampholder hole measures approximately 2.9cm (1.15in) wide, and thus will fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder.  The plastic is somewhat discoloured with some marking and slight surface wear including some scratches; there are numerous scuffs and scratches at the top of the shade, although these may well date from manufacture; the twin vertical moulding seams are clearly visible, and, when viewed from certain angles, a pattern of vertical lines can be seen within the plastic in places.
