A c.1960s-70s cylindrical spun fibreglass lampshade (suitable for a table lamp or pendant fitting), in natural colour, measuring approximately 20.1cm (7.9in) in height and 15.1cm (5.95in) in diameter, with metal shade holder attached to the shade with metal studs. The lampholder hole measures approximately 2.8cm (1.1in) in diameter, and thus should fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder. There is moderate age wear to the shade with some marking and possible age discoloration, together with some horizontal stress cracks adjacent to the shade holder studs and a few other horizontal cracks (these, although visible, do not detract unduly from its appearance as they run in the same direction as the glass fibre) and some areas of rippling to the otherwise smooth surface of the interior; the shade holder is tarnished with some surface rust, the studs being likewise tarnished.
