A c.1960s-70s cylindrical spun fibreglass lampshade (suitable for a table lamp or pendant fitting), in natural colour, measuring approximately 15.1cm (5.95in) in height and 10.2cm (4in) in diameter, with metal shade holder attached to the shade with metal studs. The lampholder hole measures approximately 2.8cm (1.1in) in diameter, and thus should fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder. There is moderate age wear to the shade including considerable marking (including paint specks) and discoloration, slight bumping to the edges, some horizontal stress cracking adjacent to the shade holder studs and other slight horizontal cracks (these, although visible, do not detract unduly from its appearance as they run in the same direction as the glass fibre), whilst the top edge is slightly uneven; the shade holder is tarnished with rust, the studs being likewise tarnished.
