A c.1960s-70s cylindrical spun fibreglass lampshade (suitable for a table lamp or pendant fitting), in natural colour, measuring approximately 25.3cm (9.95in) in height and 15cm (5.9in) in diameter, with metal shade holder attached to the shade with metal studs. The lampholder hole measures approximately 2.8cm (1.1in) in diameter, and thus should fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder. There is moderate age wear to the shade with some marking (including traces of white paint) and possible age discoloration, together with some horizontal stress cracks adjacent to the shade holder studs and a few other horizontal cracks (these, although visible, do not detract unduly from its appearance as they run in the same direction as the glass fibre); the shade holder is tarnished with some rust, the studs being likewise tarnished with slight verdigris.
