A c.1960s pendant lampshade / light shade in semi-flexible polythene (similar to vintage Tupperware), in two parts: a semi-transparent centre with moulded linear design, measuring approximately 15cm (5.9in) tall and 10.1cm (4in) in diameter at the top (the lower part of this section is not truly circular or level at the base, but is slightly oval and curved), which is marked "BRIT REG / DES NO / 935443", and an opaque translucent primrose yellow collar with moulded square pattern and shallow scalloped lower edge, measuring approximately 8.8cm (3.45in) high and 23.2cm (9.15in) in diameter. The lampholder hole measures approximately 2.8-2.9cm (1.1-1.15in) wide, and thus should fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder. The central section is somewhat discoloured with age, especially to the areas not covered by the collar, and has a short crack or split between the lampholder hole and one of the ventilation holes at the top (this would not of course be visible when the shade is hung) besides minor age wear; the collar has some scratching to the interior, minor wear and marking to the exterior and slight roughness to the edges; both sections have visible moulding seams.
