Radford cheese dish, round with handpainted abstract brown pattern

A vintage E Radford round pottery cheese dish, in white, handpainted with an abstract pattern (with curves somewhat reminiscent of oak leaves or clouds) in deep brown and dark grey-brown.  The base, which bears the "E Radford / England / Handpainted" printed stamp in grey-green, measures approximately 22.9cm (9in) in diameter; the lid and base together stand approximately 14cm (5.5in) tall.  The lid is crazed throughout, and has some grey marking, staining and wear to the lower edge; the base also has some marking, together with some age wear to the foot and around the inner edge of the upper surface where the lid edge touches.
